After experiencing loss of vision and bleeding from my left eye Dr.Ulm repaired a fistula behind my eye and my vision is now returning to normal.
Dr. Ulm and his staff are very knowledgeable and caring. He has performed 2 lumbar fusions and recently a Cervical fusion. They took excellent care of me through the whole process and fixed my pain. They thoroughly explained what was wrong and how to fix it. They answered all of my questions.
I definitely recommend Dr. Ulm to everyone I know that have back/neck pain. Not sure how I could function without Dr. Ulm and his staff.
I cannot thank Dr Ulm enough for how he has helped my back and neck pain. In 2012 I went to see him after nothing else helped my back pain. Other Doctors said they could not help. Dr Ulm looked at the MRI and said I can help you with spinal fusion, and he did! I could do everything I used to do.
Then I went to see him this year about neck pain I have been having for about 2 years. Other procedures did not help. Again Dr Ulm looked at the MRI and suggested fusion. In June he performed the surgery and I am feeling so much better!! He is such a competent surgeon and a very nice doctor.
Dr Ulm and his outstanding staff completely explain everything about what the damage is and how it can be fixed. They always answer any questions I have. They treat me like family which helps during the entire process.
I recommend Dr Ulm to everyone I learn have been having neck or back pain.
I was seen by Dr. Ulm's Physician Assistant, Darice Spackman for an evaluation of my low back. She was incredibly patient with me and made me feel so comfortable, she walked me through numerous exercises that I can do to conservatively treat my pain. She is very well versed in conditions of the spine and has a wonderful bedside manner.
Amy and the office staff are excellent, professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable.
Dr. Ulm meet all the expectations that I had for a neurosurgeon. The office staff and medical assistants were courteous, professional and prompt. Dr. Ulm performed major back surgery 3 weeks ago and now I am without pain and have put my walker in the closet! I feel twenty years younger. Dr. Ulm is the best!
I have been a patient approximately 8 years. He tried injections, but they didn't work. After years in pain, the last resort was back surgery. I am free and feel like a different person. I highly recommend Dr. Ulm, he will be the last neurosurgeon you will have to see. Friendly and to the point. He also has the best staff imaginable.
Dr. Ulm is the best surgeon and had it not been for him I would not be here today. I had a stroke in Dec 2018 and was on deaths doorstep when Dr. Ulm got to me. I would recommend him for anyone needing brain or back surgery. He is so professional and all of his staff is number one also. I thank Dr. Ulm and will never be able to say thank you enough because I am here today because of him.
I give Dr. Ulm a 5 star. He's kind and caring.
Everyone has been very kind at this visit. Dr. Ulm is so informative and calming. His assistant Mo was very helpful and kind as well during and after my procedure.
