About Dr. Scoville
Dr. Scoville is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon providing comprehensive care for both adult and pediatric patients. He treats the full spectrum of brain and spine conditions, offering advanced surgical and minimally invasive options tailored to each patient. Dr. Scoville studied Biochemistry at Brigham Young University before earning his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He completed neurosurgery residency at the University of Utah, where he also earned a master’s degree in public health, before completing fellowships in both cerebrovascular/endovascular neurosurgery, and pediatric neurosurgery. At Nashville Neurosurgery Associates, Dr. Scoville combines rigorous training with a personal, patient-centered approach, ensuring timely communication and collaborative care for all patients.
I believe that every patient deserves care that combines expertise with empathy. I approach each encounter as a partnership, a chance to help patients and their families navigate complex medical information and feel confident in the decisions ahead. My focus is not only on achieving the best possible medical outcome but also on understanding each person’s fears, hopes, and priorities.
Clear communication, shared decision-making, and genuine compassion are just as important to me as surgical precision. My goal is to guide patients and families through the complexities of diagnosis and treatment, serving as a trusted partner and advocate every step of the way.
