A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Dr. Mericle has treated thousands of neurosurgery patients over the past two decades.

In addition to treating patients at Nashville Neurosurgery Group, Dr. Mericle continues to teach dozens of physicians across the United States, having personally trained more than 15 fellows in vascular neurosurgery and neurointerventional surgery at Vanderbilt University and the University of Florida. He has more than 100 publications on neurosurgical topics in both books and medical journals.

Dr. Mericle and his wife, Yin, have three children.
